Sometimes we use some css hack like:

.page  {

            color: green; /*Firefox, Safari, Chrome*/

            *color: black; /*IE7only*/

            _color: gray; /*IE6only*/

}

It's actually good and time saving but there is a problem. If we need to validate our site throurh css-validator (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) then it will fail. So an alternative and better option might be like this:

<style type="text/css">

           .ie .example background-color: yellow}

           .ie7 .example background-color: orange}

</style>
