Yes, you are correct, It helps in a great deal. Once I looked at such kind of a bit earlier, however, we can use many features frequently and be expert in usage of all the features that will make us more confident and result in happy programming.:)

Yes it's very popular. I still use it. If you want similar functionality in your browser there are some nice addons are available. One such addon is Httpwatch, probably the most powerful one.
